Madonna Lois Cress

Madonna Lois Cress, 49, of St. Mary of the Woods died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, October 15, 1995, in Union Hospital.  She was born December 13, 1945, in Terre Haute to William Herschel Cress and Iva Haase Cress.  She worked for many years for Columbia Records. 

Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Kara Cress of Terre Haute, one sister and brother-in-law, Carole Betz-Stevens of Bellville; one niece, Noelle Cress; one nephew, Colin Cress; one nephew and spouse, Barry and Diane Betz; one great-nephew, Michael Betz; and one great-niece, Kristen Betz. 

She was a member of Sandford Wesleyan Church and Sandford Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.  Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mattox-Wood North Terre Haute Chapel.  Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
