TERRE HAUTE —
Mary Maxine (Beatty) Grindle, 72, of Terre
Haute, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at
Methodist Hospital. She was born on June 4,
1939, in Clay County, to Paul Newton Beatty and
Pauline Harden Beatty.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years,
Aaron Richard Grindle; four sons, Jeffery
Grindle, Kevin Grindle, Gary Grindle and his
wife Lisa and Mark Grindle and his wife Tess;
brother, Mike Beatty and wife Judy; four
grandchildren, Michael Grindle, Jade Grindle,
Cassey Grindle and Brittany Grindle; and one
great-grandchild, Lorenzo. She was preceded in
death by her parents; and one granddaughter,
Tiffany Grindle.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 26,
2011, with funeral service at 6 p.m. at
Mattox-Wood Funeral Home & Crematory, 4660 N.
Lafayette Ave., with the Rev. Bob Rousch
officiating. Private Graveside services on
Monday.
