Carolyn A. Peters Carolyn A. Peters, 60, of Fontanet, Ind., died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute. She was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Gary, Ind. She was the daughter of Charles Jones Jr. and Josephine Caroline Bailey, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Nevins Township Fire Department for 19 years. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth C. Jones, and her grandparents, Carrie Bailey and Joseph Bailey. Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Peters and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Herb officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Sulphur Springs.
