Class of 1963
— Christina Ann Kruse, 65,
passed away at her home on Aug. 3, 2010. She was
born on March 17, 1945, to Cecil (Bill) and
Lucille Koch. She was preceded in death by her
mother and a younger sister, Nancy Koch.
Chris, then known as Emma Lou, attended Garfield
High School. After high school, she moved to
Denver, where she lived for the next 20 years.
In 1985, she moved back to Terre Haute, to be
closer to family.
Chris was a motorcycle enthusiast, and her other
hobbies included reading and enjoying her pets.
She also liked shopping and visits from her
grandchildren.
Survivors include her father, Bill Koch of
Rosedale; one daughter, Bonnie (Sharps)
Hemmerling of Greencastle; a grandson, Kenneth
Masterman of Terre Haute; a granddaughter,
Heather Masterman and her companion Jason
Bennett; and a great-grandson, Dominic, all of
West Terre Haute.
Services will be held at Greiner Funeral Home,
2005 N. 13th St., in Terre Haute, on Monday,
Aug. 9, 2010. Friends may call beginning at 1
p.m., with funeral services to be held at 2 p.m.
The Reverend Larry Spear will be presiding.
Interment will be at Bridgeton Cemetery.
