Gertie Haynes Miller

Gertie Haynes Miller, 53, of Terre Haute died at
5:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 1993, in Union
Hospital. She was a homemaker and formerly
employed at Columbia House.
She was born Oct.
20, 1939, in Ehrmandale to Theodore Hanes and
Mildred Wagle Haynes. Her husband, James R.
Miller, died in 1990.
Survivors include one
son, James R. Miller II of Terre Haute; two
daughters, Becki Britton and Libbi Hobson of
Terre Haute; two brothers, Hubert Haynes of
Brownsburg and Doug Hanes of Alton, Ill; three
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Nevins Township Fire
Department Ladies Auxiliary and Otter Creek
Christian Church.
Service are 10 a.m. Wednesday
in Mattox-Wood North Terre Haute Chapel, with
the Rev. Brian Keller officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 8
p.m. Tuesday. |
