TERRE HAUTE — Judy K. Shuler, 64, of Terre
Haute, passed away at 6:19 a.m. on Friday, April
16, 2010, in Union Hospital. She was born in
Vigo County, on June 21, 1945, to Ernie Hargett
and Margaret Akers.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Shuler;
one brother, Paul Akers; and seven sisters,
Marsha Hay and husband Steve, Wilma Barnes and
husband Bob, Emma Hinds and husband Buster,
Kathryn Sparks and husband Randy, Peggy Church
and Joe Pitts, Patti Bullock and husband Bob,
Billie Johnston, and Sherry Hriber. Also
surviving is a sister-in-law, Patty Sword and
husband Leonard; a brother-in-law, Bill Shuler
and wife Georgia; a nephew, Michael Shuler; and
several other nieces, nephews, and her “baby,”
Scooter.
She was a member of United Brethren in Christ
Church.
Funeral services will be at DeBaun Springhill
Chapel on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 2 p.m.
with her brother-in-law, Steve Hay officiating.
Burial will be in Hull Cemetery. Visitation
will be on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the
funeral home. The family requests memorial
contributions be made to United Brethren in
Christ Church, 2611 Thompson Street, Terre
Haute, IN 47802, in her memory. |
