Maxine Vanatti Reisinger
Class of 1937
Maxine
Reisinger, 84, of Brazil, died Tuesday, Jan. 13,
2004, at Cloverleaf Healthcare Facility. She had
been a resident there for 1 1/2 years.
She was
born April 6, 1919, in Vigo County, the daughter
of Henry and Louisa Smith Vanatti. She graduated
from Fontanet
High School. In 1937, she married Robert Lee
Reisinger.
She worked
as a housekeeper for many local residents in
Brazil. She attended several area churches
throughout the years. She enjoyed socializing in
the mailroom and playing cards, bingo and crafts
with friends at Meridian Towers, where she lived
for 22 years.
Survivors
include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles
and Linda Reisinger and Bob and Judy Reisinger;
two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Allen
Starr and Myra and Marion Snow; 15
grandchildren, Jerry Reisinger and wife Peggy,
Rodney Reisinger and wife Trina, Max Reisinger,
Jo Dickey and husband Dale, Rob Reisinger and
wife Alicia, Candie Robbins, B.J. Reisinger,
Kelly Petty and husband Steve, Shawn Starr and
wife Heather, Gale Snow Jr. and wife Angie,
Angie Heck and husband Randy, Tim Snow and wife
Donna, Louise Easton and husband Kevin, Lisa
Bunch and husband Tony, Sheila Dillington and
husband Chip, Sara Baily and husband Jay; 28
great-grandchildren, Donny and David West, Greg
and Josh Reisinger, Andy, Max and Zach Reisinger,
Ethan and Justina Dickey, Eli and Amanda
Reisinger, Lori Robbins, Corey Petty, Alivia and
Mallory Starr, Jace and Lexy Snow, Justin and
Michaela Snow, Staci and Jesse Heck, Karah and
Aubrey Easton, John and Tyler Bunch and Ethina,
Brianna and Shelby Baily; one sister, Ruth
Lawson; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Vanatti
and Betty Vanatti.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; her husband;
one son, William Ray Reisinger; one grandson,
Troy Allen Starr; two great-grandsons, Brandon
and Jeffrey Robbins; two brothers, Ray and Jesse
"Sonny" Vanatti; and three sisters, Margaret
Kohler, Ella Mae Hamilton and Bessie Pierce.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at French
Funeral Home, with Brother Greg Comp
officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge
Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11
a.m. until time of service. |
