ROCKVILLE –
Guy M. Winters, Sr., 76, of Rockville died at
3:34 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, in Rockville
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a retired contractor/builder and owner of
the former Sunshine Pizza in Rockville.
He was born April 1, 1930, in Seattle to Guy
Louis Winters and Pearl Acres Winters.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Stevens
Winters, whom he married on Dec. 30, 1986; two
sons, Guy Winters Jr. and his wife Joyce Winters
of Rockville, and Gary Winters and his wife
Betty of Rockville; three daughters, Lana Kelley
and her husband Steve of Terre Haute, Camie
Hopkins and her husband Jim of Rosedale, Kim
Kellogg and her husband Jeff of Jeffersonville,
Ind.; one stepson, Jim Crowley and his wife
Marilyn of Terre Haute; one stepdaughter, Pam
Edwards and her husband Chris of Terre Haute;
eleven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
He loved motorcycles and building and racing
go-karts.
Cremation was chosen. Memorial services are 7
p.m. Wednesday in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 Howard
St. in Rockville, with the Rev. Rusty Deckard
officiating. Burial is in the Rosedale Cemetery.
Memorial visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in
the funeral home. Memorials, should friends so
desire, may be made to the Parke County Unit of
the American Cancer Society, 112 Howard St.,
Rockville, IN 47872 in his memory. Care and
cremation entrusted to Gooch Funeral
Home-Rockville.
